So as some of you already know, I finally got myself a shiny Charizard. It's my first successful soft-reset shiny, and I'm proud of it.
It took exactly 129 soft resets, and it's a female. I don't think I could have got a better result.
Her name is Ebony.
This was originally going to be just a picture, but I thought animating the fire on her tail would be a nice touch, so I did that, then did a little more by making a shadow and making her blink.

this is beautiful! And I am jealous about how little time it took you to get one, and female too! I have no luck with shinies. -.- I had been soft resetting for a shin charmander for a long time and eventually gave up. Then about a week ago I bought a used soulsilver game and as i was walking out of the mall I decided to see what pokemon were on the saved file and I swear my heart stopped when there was a black charizard sprite following the main character around! Not only that but there was also a shiny aggron and a shiny umbreon on the file too!
