Ruby Trainer concept 1

I'm trying to find a way to draw this trainer for my Nuzlocke challenge.
Unfortunately I just stink at drawing people.
So badly.

Any ideas on what I can improve with this trainer?
And by that I mean her face and head and stuff.
I'm having problems fitting her hair where it goes and stuff like that.

Made in Adobe Illustrater.
I hate this program. I can't even zoom in.
